Fantastic week in Lagos. Was my first training holiday with Embrace and I absolutely loved it. Great bunch of supportive people (coaches and other runners), plenty of tasty food, and a wide variety of training sessions. I didn't believe I would be able to do all the sessions, or run twice in one day, as it seemed like too big a step up from my normal running week but I really surprised myself and discovered how much you can achieve when you are being looked after so well and have time to relax. Thank you and I hope to come back to another camp. Highly recommended.

We returned from our second Embrace trip full of enthusiasm for a summer of running. It's a great way to brush off the winter cobwebs. Whatever your ability or level, the running is challenging and tailored to suit every member of the group. The sense of achievement at the end of the week is worth the effort. The coaches are fantastic cooks, with the menus carefully thought out in relation to fuelling and recovery. These guys work so hard behind the scenes while us "guests" recover by the pool. Their knowledge is amazing and they are so encouraging of each and every runner from the super dooper runner to the not so super and everyone in between. The feeling of camaraderie in the group is great, with everyone from 60 plus year olds to 20 somethings getting along together, helping each other out, supporting each other and just having a fun time together. Celebrating a milestone birthday with this great group of people is something I'll remember for a long, long time. Looking forward to trying the Alps next! Keep doing what you do so well Neil and Co.

I have no felt so happy and healthy coming back from a holiday. It was brilliant for the body and mind. It was great to be part of a group - the location is stunning, he hotel set up and pool are excellent. The food is brilliant and overall it is superb value for money. Couldn't be more positive about the experience, would be very tempted to try more.

This was my 6th Embrace camp and I loved it as much as the first one! The holiday is a fantastic break away, with a challenging and varied schedule, supported by amazing coaches and like minded participants. The meals provided are delicious and great for ideas to cook at home, even the 7am porridge! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to run with a group but at their own level. Hope to return again soon 🙂

I have just returned from my first running holiday with Embrace (Lagos). As a 63 year old (but highly competitive!) lady on her own, I didn't know what to expect but had a super week and ran many more miles than I have ever done before. I found the sessions extremely well-organised, very varied and appropriately challenging. Accommodation and food definitely exceeded expectations and the guys in the group (as well as the coaches of course!) were particularly pleasant, inclusive and encouraging. What I did also particularly enjoy was the freedom to have time on my own and to get out and explore Lagos and indeed the other places we visited during our runs. Thank you Embrace!

I enjoyed this holiday so much! What a great way to escape the work week! I appreciated being coached and learning how to train, rather than just running. The coaches were kind, encouraging, and fun. Meals were fabulous! And Such a wonderful, supportive group of friends! Everything was so well organized which created a relaxed environment. I will definitely like to participate in another Embrace camp!

Fantastic holidays / training camps. Coaches really make the week by being v. friendly, great cooks, coaches and general organisers. Accommodation in Portugal was really great. Big apartments with nice view onto the pool. Fantastic value too - thank you Neil & co. - I'll likely be back 🙂

Really fantastic week. A great mix of quality training, friendly people, very tasty and plentiful food & drinks and fantastic coaches. The Portugal venue is very good. Spacious & clean apartments looking over the pool. The coaches are all so helpful and friendly and do a great job of managing a group of varying abilities so that everyone can get lots out of it. It also really feels like a holiday as everything is sorted for you - so despite some hard training, you get a break from your work life and can come back feeling refreshed and fitter! Thank you!

My third Embrace camp, first time on the longer distance tri camp. It did not disappoint, as great as the previous two, brilliant coaching team, superb food, lovely bunch of people to be with and some really good solid training in fantastic scenery. Would recommend to anyone.
