Most (admittedly non runner) friends think a running holiday is not possible! It is. I have been on this holiday 3 times and it is a great balance of training and relaxing. It is surprising how many miles we can cover without having to worry about normal life. The different terrains and structure of the holiday means no two runs are the same and keeps training interesting. I hope to be back for more!

Had an amazing time in a relaxed yet competitive environment to push you to do better. Food, coaches and the location of all activities were stunning. Will go back for my third trip

I did three running camps @ Embrace, Lovely weather in a beautiful place - very good homemade food and hard working with good people 🙂 Difficult to expect better in one week!!! On each camp, the coaches try to improve the quality of the framing, I never found better running camps than those proposed here 😉 Every runner should try a camp with Embrace! I was fortunate enough to attend this training camp a few years ago. It was AWESOME! I was able to spend a full week focused on me and my training needs. The coaches are great and very knowledgeable. The food was unbelievable!

I've been on a number of Embrace Sports holidays (running and triathlon) both in Portugal and France and this is one of my favourites. It's a particularly good camp as there is a mix of runners and triathletes, so there are always lots of people around to talk to. The venue is lovely, with a large social area and comfortable apartments with balconies, which are great for drying all of your kit. Another advantage of this holiday is the location. It's easy to do a 5km recovery run as there is a beautiful coastal loop nearby... but there are also some challenging hills and it's a short drive to other spectatcular training locations. The beach where we go for early morning swims is attractive and sheltered, so it's rare for a swim to be cancelled. However, the apartments are also close to a 50m outdoor pool and an indoor pool. The cycling in this area is also varied, with some lovely flat (and fast) coastal routes and also some climbs such as Monchique (and the short, but no less formidable 'Punisher'). Embrace Camps aren't all about the training - the home-made food is delicious and there is also time for socialising, lounging by the pool and visiting the town. Finally, I need to say that the coaches are great. They are excellent athletes, but also highly qualified coaches who want to support everyone to achieve their own goals. I went to my first Embrace Camp as a runner and came away determined to learn to swim and complete a triathlon.

You can rest assured that I mean it when I say these holidays are AWESOME! I've been 5 years in a row, so there's real proof. And I came from the land of true cluelessness! So you can also rest you assured that you'll be up to speed on what a cycling holiday actually involves, in no time. The farmhouse is set in an idyllic valley, its really beautiful - french paysage at its best. The house is super social, with a great kitchen, loads of outdoor seating space, pingpong, a bar, pool!! Yes - a proper holiday. The cycling is amazing, the choice of cols is endless and the mix of flat riding through the valleys as well as those massive blooming long mountains, makes the long rides really rewarding. The Embrace tea are absolute pros at running these now, they have years of experience running hundreds of camps and have got it really sorted. They are not only great organisers but they are bonkers good sportsmen so can adapt to suit all types. And they are a great fun bunch, you'll have a lot of laughs. And even better - you get really fit on these holidays, so you come back feeling epic. Just writing this is making me want to book one for next week! Can't recommend them enough...

As a first time wannabe marathon runner, I was a little nervous about signing up to something like this but was overwhelmed by how supportive both the staff and fellow runners were. The coaches were excellent, very knowledgeable and able to cater for all different levels of experience and ambition. The surroundings were great, with some really scenic runs and the accommodation and facilities on hand were perfect for a week of intensive training! Having thought this was a one-off when I signed up, I can say that I'll definitely be considering it again in the future. Barcelona Marathon Training with Embrace Sports. Alexandre Casey

The holiday is well structured for runners of different levels with stunning running routes, individual coaching and learning sessions. Being a beginner, I enjoyed all runs and sessions and will be definitely back next year. The holidays is strongly recommended to everyone who loves running or would like to fall in love with running! My favourite training camp ( full stop ) with fantastic coaches who are a lot of fun, yet push you to reach your goal and also look after you. Had a great time every time I went and when the camp ends you just want to do it again and again.. its a great sense of achievements conquering French mountains in the Pyrenees day after day, just when you thought you cant, you learn that you can and loving every day of it. Also be prepared for fantastic variety of dinners. The only thing you have to worry about is not to overeat.. which always tends to happen. - but then again, those hills make you work hard and help you burn it off. 🙂 that what I told myself.. Go and enjoy it and get ready for a hell of a week of your life! Thank you Neil, Graeme and Kat and Eric

I have been to Embrace four times and love it. I have made some amazing friend's who are just as mad as me. The food is amazing and the apartments are spacious and clean. The coaches support all abilities and there is never too much pressure. I plan one only every October lol.. well until my body allows that is. Come on what are you waiting for.
